How it works

Come on a night the club is open, ask at reception, and bring a recognised form of photo identification. Staff take your full name and address, nothing else. You read and agree the house rules, pay the fee, and that is you.

There is then a 48 hour probationary period. It exists so both sides can be sure this is a good fit. If it is not, membership is revoked and the fee is not refunded, which is unusual to say out loud and better than finding out later.

Membership runs a rolling year from the day you join, not from January.

Couples, single women, single men

The club is aimed primarily at couples, because of its size and its character. Single women are welcome. Single men are welcome in limited numbers, and applications are best made on a Sunday evening when there is time for a proper conversation. Availability for single gents is genuinely limited, so message the club before travelling.

Applications for couples and single women cannot be completed after 9.30pm on Friday or Saturday. Come earlier, or come on a Sunday.

Discretion, in specifics

The entrance is at the rear, down an alley, not on the high street. No cameras or camera phones upstairs, at all, without prior management permission. Members may be asked their profession on arrival and agree not to report anything about the club or its members to the media or to third parties.

Nothing is ever posted to your home address. Details are held on a secure server, are not sold or shared, and are retained for one year. Email addresses are kept only if you ask for the newsletter.
